“What I See”, at the Science Museum Lates, Join us for some self – reflection and a drink.

Community Releaf is at the launch of the What I See project tonight at the Science Museum Lates. The What I See project is a global exploration of women’s perception and self-expression. The Project examines how different experiences shape who we are and how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

Darcey Williamson and others from Jiggling Atoms are facilitating  Jennifer Crouch’s anthropological art piece, a pegboard installation that encourages reflection and contemplation of our context and mood, asking how circumstances influence our self-perception.

Participants will choose a coloured ribbon corresponding to their mood and use it to connect two pegs labeled with an adjective that best describes what they see in themselves.

The art-piece will change and develop as people interact with it, becoming a visual data representation exploring and sharing the perceptions of the participants in a colourful and geometrically intriguing way.

More information and pictures of this socially engaging art piece are to come after tonight’s launch, we hope to see you there!!
